Wadowice & Kalwaria Zebrzydowska & Lagiewniki – Religious tour
This are destinations for millions of pilgrims, places connected with our beloved pope John Paul II.
In Wadowice you’ll see house where Karol Wojtyła was born and a 15th century parish church. Kalwaria Zebrzydowska was coraborated on the UNESCO List. There are famous Way of the Cross with 42 chapels and 17th century basilica with miraculous picture of Our Lady waiting to be explored. Devine Mercy Shrine in Łagiewniki, consecrated in 2002 by JP II, is crowded by pilgrims every day, especially on first Sunday after Easter when thousands are praying opposite of miraculous painting “Jesus, I trust you”, given by saint sister Faustina Kowalska. Donations to the churches would be welcome.
